Quarterly Session Meeting
The Session will gather for its quarterly meeting by Zoom videoconference. The main item on the agenda is the approval of the 2025 budget. This is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend. Just ask Pastor Scott for the link.
Annual Congregational Meeting
After worship, BCPF will hold its annual congregational and corporate meetings. On the agenda are several important items: (1) consideration of the 2025 budget; (2) election of elders, deacons, and trustees; and (3) reports from the pastors. The meeting will be held in Fellowship Hall. The meetings will include a potluck lunch, so please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Souper Bowl Sunday
Join us for our annual Souper Bowl Sunday lunch. Bring a crockpot of your favorite soup, a loaf of your favorite bread, or a dessert and join in the fun. There’s always plenty of food, so join in even if you can’t bring anything. And, there’s always something new to try. Don’t worry; we will be done in plenty of time for you to catch the real Superbowl!
Ash Wednesday Service
Please join us for our Ash Wednesday service. This brief worship service begins the season of Lent, a forty-day time of repentance and preparation for Resurrection Sunday. The imposition of ashes will be offered at this service, but participation is entirely voluntary.
Maundy Thursday Service
We hope that you can join us for the annual Maundy Thursday worship service. This Tenebrae (“Shadows”) service will be held in Fellowship Hall and will re-tell the story of Passion week with readings from Scripture and the singing of hymns. All are welcome.
Service of Lessons and Carols
Tonight we will celebrate Christmas Eve with a traditional candlelight service of nine lessons and carols. Hearing lessons from Scripture and singing Christmas carols, together we tell the story of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God and Savior of the world. All are welcome.
Annual Christmas Party
Please join us for this year’s Christmas Party in Fellowship Hall The party will begin immediately following morning worship. Bring a side dish or a dessert to share, and a gag gift for our “dirty Santa” gift exchange. You will have a great time!
