God’s Grace Clothing Ministry
God’s Grace is a community ministry sponsored partly by Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship that has provided free clothing, linens, and toiletries to residents of Brown County since 2008. We take seriously Jesus’s command (Matthew 25:31-46) to provide help for those in distress, especially those who need clothes.
God’s Grace works with local social service agencies, first responders to natural disasters, and the county’s schools. For example, its annual “On the Road Again” event typically outfits more than 400 children with a week’s worth of clothes before the start of a new school year. The ministry is run entirely by volunteers from Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship, other churches and youth groups, the local high school, and philanthropic organizations.
God’s Grace operates a store on the second floor of Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship.
